Sybila Gutierrez was born in Elda (Alicante) and has training in different dance areas: African dance, break dance, hip-hop, classical dance, oriental dance, Spanish dance, contemporary dance, contact-improvisation. She has studied Professional Degree in Contemporary Dance in Valencia. Also, she has all grades (2 + 8) of Classical Dance and Elementary Grade of Royal Academy of Dance. Dancer, curious and researcher of the movement, the voice of the body. She is part of the Valencian Company Cia Dunatacà.

Participating as a director in two of her works “Mujer” and “Lo Inevitable” (premiere in Dansa Valéncia, April 2018) and as an interpreter in “Muuchachitas”. It also combines and complements her career with the research of the Menstrual Cycle of the Bodies with Uterus, trying to see what it can be enhanced related to the dance or creation processes in each phase of that cycle; experiencing the liquidity of the concepts “femininity and gender” and  creating new spaces where the bodies speak from.
