Reinier van Harten is an Amsterdam based performer who studied at the Conservatory and Mime department of Amsterdam. With his performance collective REINDIER he creates various performances leading to a brand new world full of elastic dancers, musicians and dazzling costumes. Take one part pop, a spoonful of electronics, a whiff of new wave, a gram of glam and an ample portion of theatre, shake asymmetrically and there it is: a new sound. Melancholic vocals, experimental instruments and confronting lyrics, Reinier finds new ways to stretch the boundaries of his art.
