Marie Bregier is French. She studied dance history and has a background in contemporary dance in the Conservatory Gabriel Fauré (Paris) and in ballet in Ann Lewis’School (Pontoise, France). She has done numerous dance workshops with Eduardo Torroja (Wim Wandekeybus Company), Mariangela Siani, Nina Dipla (Pina Bausch formation), Maggie Boogaart (Martha Graham studies), Philippe Lafeuille, Heddy Maalem, Micheline Lelièvre (Merce Cunningham formation), Michel Lecoq (Maguy Marin Company), Milena Gilabert (Trisha Brown formation) and currently continues with her training in Elephant in the Black Box Junior Company(Madrid, Spain) -Contemporary formation with Jean-Philippe Dury-. She is interesed in dancing as performance in public places, and that fact is part of her personal search.
