Giacomo Pini (1994, Italy) finished his first training in Ballet and Contemporary Dance at Arabesque Dance Center in Rimini, Italy. He later gained a First-Class BA in Contemporary Dance from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and an MA in Contemporary Dance (EDge) from The Place in 2017.
He completed internships with international dance companies such as Skanes Dansteater (Sweden), Phoenix Dance Theatre, Motionhouse, Ballet Preljocaj (France), 2Faced Dance Company, Nederlands Dans Theater II, Limon Dance Company (New York City).
Giacomo worked as a dancer with EDge Dance Company (Artistic director: Jeanne Yasko) and performed for the visual artists: Leonor Serrano Rivas, Emma Baklund, Lychee One Gallery, as well as collaborating with queer artists and photographers on different projects about gender, identity, nudity and the performing body.
He is currently dancing with Eliot Smith Dance and J7s Dance Company as well as freelancing as a dancer and performance artist.
He is now with the Elioth Smith Dance in the UK tour and the J7s Dance Company in the International tour.
