Emily Snow is a recent graduate with a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Contemporary Dance from Leeds Beckett University. She was awarded the Dean’s Prize for Excellence in Dance for achieving the highest overall degree mark and in 2017 was also awarded the In Between Time Festival International Student Prize (Bristol). Throughout her study, Emily was a National Young Dance Ambassador for One Dance UK for two years running.

Emily’s performance experience includes training within the Phoenix Dance Theatre Youth Academy, as a dancer in the recreation of Gaby Agis’ ‘Shouting Out Loud’and in the IMDB accredited Hollywood documentary ‘Mansfield 66-67’, produced by Ebersole Hughes Company. Emily now works as a freelance teaching assistant for Phoenix Dance Theatre and has also performed at Latitude Festival in ‘Borrowed Shoes’ (2016) and ‘Stand and Be Counted’ (2017).

After deciding to specialise in choreography, Emily’s recent work ‘The Dawn’, was chosen to be performed at both Burst and at DÅRE. She will be completing a masters degree in Choreography in September 2018.
